Urban Latin Artist, International Nova’s Single “Controla” Surpasses 1 Million Streams

This week, global superstar, International Nova hit a milestone anyone would dream of. On the crisp afternoon of November 7^th, Nova reached over 1 million streams for his catchy single, ‘Controla.’ The record-breaking song can be heard on any digital streaming platform for new and existing listeners. Once one hears the hypnotic beat, they have no choice but to let it seep into their playlist for the long haul.

A welcomed surprise in the month of October, his single ‘Dale’ was featured on the AMC original television show, ‘Covenant’. The show, playing on ALLBLCK, debuted the song during the sneak peek of their latest episode. International Nova attended the premiere of the show, not knowing it would be his song that would be chosen to set the scene. He was not only surprised, but very pleased that a larger network would be inspired by him.

The Bronx native relocated to Atlanta to expand his solo music career in 2017. He gains influence from his Latin roots stemming from his New York upbringing. The Afro-Caribbean direction his music takes is an escape in itself. From there, he partook in acts with legends such as Pitbull, French Montana, and Musiq Soulchild. He not only performed with them, but he took the opportunity to collect knowledge that will create the same loyal fan base that they have obtained.

International Nova was also featured on popular TV show, ‘Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta’ airing on VH1. He also starred in ‘All Eyez On Me’, a film on the life of late rap icon, Tupac Shakur. Nova has made himself known in every avenue and has no plans on stopping. His untitled EP is set to arrive in 2022, providing everyone’s ears with remarkable bangers. Rolling Stone India named International Nova, Global Artist to Watch and they were anything but wrong.
