TWICE Announces Their First Virtual Live Concert

The Kpop sensation TWICE is hosting their first online concert, and it’s sure to be an unforgettable virtual experience.

With the landscape of musical entertainment shifting due to evident safety concerns, there’s a definitive need for music and TWICE is giving their fans around the world a chance to participate in their first online concert titled, TWICE: World In A Day.

The online concert will take place Sunday, August 9th at 11PM PST / 2AM EST, with tickets going on sale this week and can be purchased here. The concert has various bundles available, with a promise of a massively entertaining evening for all who are able to participate.

TWICE’s 9th mini album MORE & MORE was released just last month, breaking into the Billboard 200, with a peak of #2 on Billboard’s US World Albums Chart and and impressive #3 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s Chart.

The music video for the title song on the new album has garnered nearly 150 million years so far, crossing a threshold that is reserved for some of the most dominant artists around the world with no signs of slowing down. As music begins to adapt to a world where things are temporarily different, TWICE is making one of the first established leaps into live concerts being consumed through a new platform at the comfort of your own home.

After the international success of both JYP’s Twice and the unstoppable rookie group ITZY, this concert feels like a natural step towards the global takeover of Kpop. JYP Entertainment has established a reputation in launching some of the biggest forces in music, so TWICE: World In A Day is a chance to enjoy Twice in a unique and interactive celebration of music.
