Perez Hilton Talks Celebrity Big Brother Rumors and Joining ‘Worst Cooks in America’

It’s almost been two years since we launched Contrast Magazine with Perez Hilton on the cover. It’s been a wild ride since then.

After hearing the news of Perez joining the cast of the Food Network’s ‘Worst Cooks in America,’ I met up him to talk about this. The show is set up so that a number of celebrities are recruited to learn how to cook while competing to earn $50,000 for a charity of their choice.

Perez Hilton has been on a long and successful weight loss journey so he is taking this as an opportunity to learn how to prepare healthier meals for his family. “I don’t cook. I’ve been getting my healthy meals delivered now for over 10 years. So I don’t know my way out of the kitchen. I signed up for this to, hopefully, get better and to be able to cook well for my family.” He says, “I like sticking to my meals and knowing I get guaranteed results. Being healthy is very important to me.”

The notorious gossip blogger isn’t the only notable star joining the case of Worst Cooks this season. “Everyone was really amazing on the cast. We got lucky!” Among the list of contestants are Vivica A. Fox, Nora Dunn, Carmen Electra, Erik Estrada, Carson Kressley, Sean Lowe and Melissa Peterman. Regarding Melissa, Hilton stated, “She is so sweet! Loved working with her!”

The Miami native, Perez Hilton, says this season is packed with fun moments and that there are even a few ‘blooper moments.’ “My facial reactions to some of the demonstrations by Rachael and Anne are pretty damn funny!”

While we had Hilton’s attention we brought up these Celebrity Big Brother rumors flying around and asked him to set the record straight and to confirm or deny the rumors of him joining the next season. “If the price is right,” he says.

For more on Perez, follow him on social media and be sure to watch ‘Worst Cooks in America’ on the Food Network this August!
