Nicki Minaj Celebrates Trinidad Carnival With Machel Montano & Destra Garcia for “Shake The Place” Remix
Nicki Minaj has resurfaced for her first collab of 2023, “Shake The Place” Remix, with soca legend Machel Montano and Destra Garcia.
The Queen of Rap and the King of Soca both took to Instagram to share with the world the new surprise remix that will remain available only on YouTube and Trinidad & Togabo radio airwaves. Nicki says, “Trinidad my country, the greatest carnival of all time, I’m reppin’ that red, that white, that black / I’m reppin’ my real flag.”
The song was released via Monk Music Group and credits the production by Michael “TANO” Montano, Machel Montano, Mical Teja, and Travis World, and was mixed by Cole Nystrom and mastered by N.M.G. Music.
This is Nicki’s first release since Maluma and Myriam Fares’ “Tukoh Taka” for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 soundtrack in November.
