FOX Releases Promo for Grease: Live!

FOX has released its first promo for Grease: Live!, which is set to air on January 31st at 7PM ET. The television spot features Julianne Hough as Sandy, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy, Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko, Keke Palmer as Pink Lady Marty Maraschino, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie, Kether Donohue as Jan, and David Del Rio as Putzie all dancing in front of hallway lockers. Former Saturday Night Live castmember Ana Gasteyer and Extra host Mario Lopez will also make appearances in the live production.

Jessie J is set to perform a brand-new version of “Grease (Is the Word)” at the top of the show. The song, which can be heard in the animated opening title sequence of the film, was written by the legendary Barry Gibb. The celebrated classic film was based on the 1971 Broadway production.
